Friends & Volunteers of the Uintah City Fire Department

                            (updated) December 7, 2016

Friends and Volunteers of the Uintah City Fire Department  have meet their goals and wish to thank the citizens of Uintah for their generous donations. We are excited to see our newly remodeled Fire Station finished and being used and hope that everyone has had the opportunity to stop by and take a tour. We are also excited to watch our Fire Department grow and learn ways to better serve their community. We wish them the very best going forward in 2017!

With the completion of this goal we have disbanded the Friends and Volunteers of the Uintah City Fire Department 501C3, you can however continue to make donations to the City Fire Department and we encourage you to be involved in their continued success.

Many thanks to the Directors of the Corporation for all their hard work and efforts and for being instrumental in achieving this goal; President Lee Wohlgemuth, Vice-President Camille Chapman, Secretary Marné Rice, and Treasurer Kassie Spens.

Railroad Crossing Barriers

The Union Pacific railroad completed the installation of crossing gates on 2275 East, by 6600 South, on July 22, 2014.  This will make the crossing safer for vehicular traffic, especially for school buses.  Here are a few photos of the crossing gates.
