Uintah City Fire Cadet Program
The Uintah City Fire Department established its Cadet Program to give young people ages 14-18 the chance to learn about local fire, rescue, and emergency medical services response organizations in a safe, controlled, educational, and fun way.
The Benefits of our program include:
-- Allowing youth to gain insight and interest in becoming long-term members of the emergency services
-- Increasing awareness among youth about volunteering supporting their communitiesLeadership development for America's Youth, who we recognize as tommorow's leaders
Our Department partners with the National Volunteer Fire Council Junior Firefighter Program to allow our Cadets the opportunity to be a part of a larger organization and offer regional and national events and training opportunities, along with establishing friendships that will last well beyond the Cadet's time in our program.
