IF YOU ARE LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE IN UINTAH CITY
YOU ARE LUCKY ENOUGH!

Uintah is the greatest little city in Utah.  We have the cutest babies, the smartest kids and the friendliest folks anywhere.  Our family was “lucky enough” to find this out in 1990 when we moved to Uintah.  We found Uintah to be the right place to raise our family and are excited to see our grandkids being raised with the same small town values.

As more folks discover Uintah, we are changing from a rural community to a more suburban community.  As more homes are built and folks move in, we see less horses and cows and more people, both young and not so young, out in the city.
As this change occurs, the city administration is following the lead from previous administrations in striving to find the right balance between providing essential and desired city services and the ability to pay for them. The only long term debt the city has is a bond to improve water infrastructure which was needed to allow continued growth in the city.  As required by state law, we have a balanced budget and will continue to do so!

I served on the Planning Commission for over 15 years and as the chairman from Oct. 2012 to April 2013.  In April 2013 I was appointed to the city council and was elected to a 4 year term in Nov. 2013. I believe the mayor and city council should be fair and respectful to all, while allowing civil discussion of the issues concerning the city.  I believe we can disagree without being disagreeable.

Thank you for allowing me to serve the greatest little city in Utah.

If the wind is not blowing and you cannot hear a train, you are not in Uintah and you should be!
