This is a view of US-89 as it passes under the railroad bridge of the upper track. You can see the lower track in the distance. Don Pearson identifies the date of the photo as the summer of 1964. The road widening project was completed in June of 1965. For you history buffs, the original railroad bridge over US-89 was built in 1926. Thanks, Don!

Lighting the U in 1994
City resident Dave Hutchinson led the project to light the U when it was still done with oil lanterns. The last year to use oil lanterns was 1994. Here are a few photos of the effort by Dave and other city residents. Thanks Dave!
