U-Day 2024

Volunteering

The U-Days committee is currently looking for new volunteers!

A big part of what makes U-Day special is the tradition of citizens coming together and graciously sharing their time and talents with the community. U-Days wouldn't be possible without all the locals who generously volunteer and make sure the celebration comes off as a success.

If you are interested in volunteering contact: City Council Member, Kristi Bell (435) 757-2444

Goals

1.  Celebrate our annual U-Day to honor our City’s history, beauty, and culture.

2.  Have a community event and celebration that provides opportunities for positive social interaction for all residents.

3.  Attract people to the community event with interesting activities.

4.  Plan the events:
      a. Chair and Co-Chair to take part in the planning of individual events and activities.
      b. Solicit more volunteers.
      c. Review budget and extent of program.

Donations

The U-Days Committee is always grateful for donations for the year’s Uintah Days celebration.
During the two days of celebration we rely heavily on donations and sponsorships to make the U-Day events possible.
We accept donations in the form of cash and/or monetary or prize items for our silent auction, 5k run, and raffle.
We are a small community with a small tax base, so your donation is greatly appreciated!

Your donation may be tax deductible, so please ask for a tax donation receipt.
We will also feature each commercial business donor or sponsor publicly on our events banner.

If you are interested in making a donation, please contact: Uintah City Hall 801-479-4130.

U-Days Past

Uintah City would like to thank Ansley Petty for her work at Udays 2022.

Did you know she planned and organized youth night?! She is an amazing youth who is highly involved in school and the community. Ansley was nominated by City Council to be recognized as an outstanding community youth and awarded a $1,000 college scholarship provided by the Bonneville Communities that Care.
Congratulations Ansley!

If you’d like to help next year or want to join the Bonneville communities that care coalition, please contact City Hall or Kristi Bell.
