Garbage & Recycling

Uintah City residents can sign-up for
Garbage and Recycling services at 
Uintah City Hall.

Garbage service is contracted through Waste Management,
and charges are included on your monthly Uintah City utility bill.

Currently garbage pick-up day is on Tuesday.
Recycling pick-up day is on every other Tuesday.

Please have all containers on the curb by 6:00 am on scheduled pick-up days.
For questions about your garbage or recycling service, to add additional totes to your account,
or to report a broken or missing tote, please call the Uintah City Hall during normal business hours.

Collection will be provided every week.

RECYCLING COLLECTION FEES (Monthly):

Residential Container

• $7.93

Extra Container(s)

• $6.82 for each additional container

No opt out option will be offered.

Collection will be provided bi-weekly (every-other-week) on the same day as trash collection.

Goals

1. Promote the development of environmentally and economically sound practices regarding the collection, processing, and end use of solid waste, recyclable material, and compostable material.
2. Increase total collection of recyclables, to lower overall costs.
3. Lower the amount of garbage hauled away, to reduce costs.
4. Inform residents of what can be recycled.
